It's curtains for an industrial building in Ephrata. But that's a good thing.  A Minnesota producer of curtainwall for commercial buildings has leased a 56,000-square-foot building at 596 Trout Run Road.

The arrival of Enclos Corp. will revitalize the idle structure and bring 50 jobs to the local economy, said building owner Scott Cover on Friday.

Enclos is one of the nation's largest specialty contractors, with 500 employees and sales of $200 million annually. Founded in 1976, it's a subsidiary of C.H. Holdings USA.

Based in Eagan, Minn., Enclos engineers, designs, assembles and installs curtainwall — think of huge sheets made of extruded aluminum and windows, hung from the exterior of a building — and other facades.

An Enclos spokeswoman did not have information available on the Ephrata project.

But Cover said Enclos will occupy the building Feb. 1, using it for engineering, design and assembly of its products.
