The fact that for functional municipal buildings, aesthetics and design need not be the decisive criteria, is proven by the extension to the town hall in Baden's Waghäusel: clear in its form and, thanks to ultra-modern triple insulating glasses, provided with a light and efficient façade, with the new building the town's officials demonstrate their architectural vision and perspective.   Facade: triple-insulated with sun protection function Construction and materials of the building shell result from the energy concept.

Colour-pigmented, closed facing concrete walls contrast with the flush transparent and energy-optimized façade made of triple insulation glasses SGG CLIMATOP COOL-LITE SKN 165 with sun protection function, manufactured by the CLIMAplusSECURIT partner Glas Herzong, also from Waghäusel. The delicate individual elements provide the building, depending on the position of the observer, with a vivid feeling of depth and an almost uninterrupted view from inside.
