The Company’s Monterey™ S55 and S80 Bi-Folding Doors and Series D900 Terrace Door are Granted Approval, Signifying Their Compliance with Florida Building Codes.

CRL-U.S. Aluminum, a leading manufacturer and supplier of glazing systems, is pleased to announce that three of its products have been given Florida Product Approval by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation.

This signifies full compliance with Florida Building Codes and will make it easier for glaziers and design professionals to select the appropriate systems for their jobs.

The approved products are the Monterey™ S55 and S80 Bi-Folding Doors, and Series D900 Impact-Resistant Terrace Door. The systems will be on display at the International Builders’ Show taking place in Orlando, Florida, January 10-12, 2017.

Monterey™ S55 and S80 Bi-Folding Doors create transformative living spaces. Top-hung sliding glass doors are precision engineered to open with minimal effort. The doors fold and stack to the side to create expansive views and produce a seamless transition to the outdoors.

The Monterey™ S80 model is thermally broken while the S55 model is not. The Florida Building Commission has issued the following Statewide Product Approvals for these models: 21167.1 and 21167.2. Monterey™ is approved for use anywhere in Florida outside of High-Velocity Hurricane Zones.

The newest addition to the company’s hurricane-resistant Storm Front™ line, the Series D900 Terrace Door is thermally broken, and combines high-performance with premium aesthetics.

The doors can withstand heavy traffic and extreme weather conditions while maintaining their elegant styling. The Series D900 Terrace Door has been large missile impact tested and is rated to be used in High-Velocity Hurricane Zones (FL# 21167.3). To view the Engineering Evaluation Report, click here.
