With SGG PLANITHERM XN, since February 2014, a highly efficient glass has been available which, as an insulating glass, combines optimal insulation with a very high daylight transmission.
Thanks to its thermal transmittance value of up to 0.5 W/m; K, SGG PLANITHERM XN reduces heat losses to a minimum. Thus, even in winter and close to the windows in indoor rooms, temperatures remain pleasantly cosy. At the same time, the light transmission value of up to 82% guarantees optimal use of sunlight. Consequently, not only are heating costs and CO2 emissions significantly reduced, but also the need for an artificial illumination is lower with windows made of SGG PLANITHERM XN.
