An elevator may not always be thought of as an ideal place for decorative glass, but Ouellet Architects in Montreal used a unique concept in designing a second elevator for Saint Joseph’s Oratory, also in Montreal.
The project was completed late last year.
Designed by architect Paul de Guire, the new elevator has a bold design that incorporates glass panels of 11 distinct colors resembling the oratory’s stained glass windows.
