O'Connell stated that "one of the more difficult tasks involved with insuring the success of a major manufacturing concern with multiple locations is the molding of various business cultures into a cohesive unit, and we thank Jim for leading UGC through that phase of its continuing development. Jim is truly a proven leader in our industry, and we are fortunate to have had him with UGC to guide us through the formative years and leave us well positioned to continue to grow in a potentially turbulent economy. The Corporate team we have in place, along with Jim in an advisory capacity, will insure that the growth and success UGC has enjoyed up to this point will continue."
