DuPont Chairman and CEO Chad Holliday recently visited Korea, where he addressed students at Seoul National University and business leaders, as well as held a town meeting with company employees.

During his two-day visit to the country, Chad addressed the FKI (Korea Federation of Industries)/AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce) Joint Breakfast Meeting in Seoul. More than 200 business leaders, government officials and others were on hand for the speech, entitled “DuPont at 200: Transformation for Sustainable Growth.” In his remarks, Chad discusses how DuPont has changed throughout the last 200 years thanks to continued transformation and innovation. He also spoke about the company’s growth platforms and the DuPont focus on achieving sustainable growth.

Chad said one thing that has not changed about DuPont is the company’s core values of ethics, fair and respectful treatment of people and commitment to safety, health and environmental stewardship. “They are so much a part of what we do every day,” he said.

He also said DuPont is committed to “really embracing” change. “At DuPont, people always are embracing changes, and are not scared of them,” said Chad, who also attended a 200th anniversary celebration with DuPont Korea customers during his visit.
