Sri Lanka Ceramic and Glass Council apples to Government asking a price reduction in furnace oil due to international price reduction of crude oil, the Council said in a media release.
The council said the industry was heavily dependent on all three energy sources -electricity, furnace oil and LPG. “The future for the Ceramics and Glass industry in Sri Lanka is greatly dependent on energy,” said Mahendra Jayasekara, President of the Sri Lanka Ceramic and Glass Council.
