Hall 16 / Stand D42CEFLA Finishing Glass Division has developed Glass Coating Technology the process of coating glass surfaces.

Additionally, CEFLA Finishing Glass Division will be operating its machines and systems to carry out industrial-scale glass coating, both by satin and pigmented coats, using fast and simple cycles. The application carried out by the Glass Coater (manufactured by Sorbini), and the drying performed by the Glass Ovens (manufactured by Cefla Finishing), enable to achieve high quality finishes while reducing operating costs. The coat is applied by the Glass Coater which is a roller coater equipped with:- one or two coating heads- electronic control of roller forwarding motion- rubber roller engraved by using the laser technology. This gives top quality coating with optimum uniformity. It is possible to obtain effects such as: mat, satin finished, enamel and metallic finishing, using ceramic, oil-based, water-based, and UV paints, both mono- and bi-component.
The in-line Glass Oven is an ultra-fast drying system that utilizes different combinations of perfectly controlled infrared heating and hot air flows, which give complete drying in just a few minutes.
The technology used is that of hot air ventilation combined with IR lamps or, alternatively, gas-fired catalytic plates with working temperatures of between 80°C and 200°C, while the type of oven depends on the base of varnish and the fishing effect desired.
