This case study shows how Window Film can enhance the glazing properties and protect home occupants from the harmful effects of excessive solar light entering dwellings  The situation describes the worries of a young family based in London, UK, who were faced with a solar heat gain problem affecting their new-born.  The sun entering into the baby’s bedroom was too strong and caused uncomfortable temperatures, besides exposing the baby to potentially harmful UV radiation.

Stephan Klotzbach, Channel Marketing Manager from Eastman, commented that “this case study demonstrates how Window Film can tackle different problems homeowners are confronted with, such as fluctuating indoor temperatures, glare, fading of furniture, UV radiation and other harmful consequences of exposure to sun light. The installation of exterior Window Film exceeded the client’s expectations and turned the bedroom into a much safer and pleasant place for the family’s baby to spend time in."
