In tune with an international presence, bagpipes signaled the ribbon cutting ceremony for Bystronic's new North American headquarters on May 16.

The new 67,500-square-foot facility, located at 185 Commerce Drive in Hauppauge, N.Y., is just down the road from the company's Long Island manufacturing facility. It boasts a state-of-the-art customer training center for maintenance and operating personnel, machine demonstration space and sales and service facilities.

From modest beginnings in 1971, selling its first piece of equipment in North America to today's multi-million-dollar contracts to supply flat glass fabricating, handling and insulating glass equipment, as well as automotive cutting and grinding machinery, Bystronic has developed into a solid presence on the North American flat glass scene.
