British report predicts architecture job cuts in UK

In a report released from Plimsoll Publishing in the UK estimates about 1,100 jobs in architecture practices will be eliminated in the UK in 2002.

The first edition of the 2002 Plimsoll Portfolio Analysis: Architects reports that 57 UK practices are in “serious financial distress” and 56 percent of UK architecture practices will need to cut jobs in the next year.
