A number of examples demonstrate the special advantages of the process - and what should be considered in terms of visual qualities.
In recent years digital printing on glass has experienced enormous popularity - and for good reason: the possibility of producing small quantities, the direct printing on glass without the various screens which are required for screen printing, photorealistic rendering and high resolution, which permits large images to be broken down into small units, and last but not least, the colour-fastness and scratch-resistance of the application of colour make digital printing an extremely versatile design element. Digitally-printed glass can be used both in the interior area and in facades in order to produce impressive "glass images" there.
