EdgeCAM is being used in the manufacture of molds for a new range of products, and was chosen after extensive evaluation of competitive CAM products.
According to Ademar Tonin, the manager of Nadir Figueirdos mold making department, "The immediate benefits provided by EdgeCAM were improved programming speed and surface finish of the molds." The largest manufacturer of pressed glass in Brazil, Nadir Figueiredo Ind., S/A, recently installed EdgeCAM in its mold making facility in Sao Paulo.
