Bovone consolidates its international vocation with the opening of the new branch in the United States.

Bovone, through the opening of a new US branch, is ready to guarantee to the North American market an even deeper-rooted and widespread presence, in synergy with its historic distributor, Salem Distributing Company.

Bovone, an Italian manufacturer of solutions and technologies for the second processing of flat glass and natural and synthetic stones, announces for 2020 the opening of a new branch in the United States intended to serve the North American markets.

The new headquarters is a strategic decision aimed to answer market demand, in synergy with Bovone’s technology distributor in the area, Salem Distributing Company. The new headquarters will consolidate the presence of the brand in a market that, year after year, continues to value made in Italy technologies.

The location of the American headquarters is North Carolina, a state with a rich history in the furniture industry (it is the largest manufacturer of residential furniture in the USA), a leading sector for glass. In addition, North Carolina has ranked as one of the top five pro-business states by the US economy and finance magazine, Forbes.

The company has finalized the purchase of the building whose spaces will be divided and organized to accommodate commercial offices, a spare parts warehouse and a mechanical workshop for overhauls. The new headquarters, which will be 100% operational from 2020 onwards, will be strategically located to best serve our customers from a logistics perspective.

The networking initiated by the company during the due diligence phases of this intense site location process, has generated numerous relationships with main universities in the state, that are critical for the training and skills needed for the recruitment of motivated and competent employees.

Staff will be guided by a precise and clear vision of intent, based on the principles of providing excellent customer service to existing commercial clients along with actively developing new prospects. With this new location, Bovone  will be able to guarantee faster response times and even more efficient sales support as the company will be investing in sales support activities that align with the demand for quick, accurate answers to the questions its customers, who recognize and appreciate our products, have.

The United States, to be competitive on local markets, also exposed to the global game, focus on the quality of Made in Italy and on advanced technological solutions: Italian companies must be ready with effective and quick answers to a question that they already know and appreciates the product. Investing in sales support activities will therefore be the key to the affirmation of a product that is already widely recognized and appreciated.

"We are excited about this new venture," says Federica Bovone. "Bovone has been successfully selling its machines in the US for 45 years and the time has come that we expand into this market with a physical location so we can continue to effectively and efficiently meet the demands of our loyal customer base. Thanks to all who made this project possible and a special thank you to the local economic development organizations and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina who helped us navigate this complex process."
