Saint-Gobain Sekurit is equipping the new BMW 7s series with numerous window variants. Not only standard glasses are being used, thereby, but also optional extras such as windscreens with Head-Up Display, thermal insulation glasses as well as acoustics glazing, which considerably improve comfort.

An increasingly popular extra is the Head-Up Display (HUD). With this system, information like speed, light on/off, oil level, fuel level etc. are projected onto the windscreen via vas mirror surfaces. Even at night, perfect presentation is ensured - without dazzling light and reflections.

Saint-Gobain Sekurit is the leader in this technology. Thanks to a new bending process, windscreens can be offered which are optimally coordinated with the use of Head-Up Displays.

Market launch of the new BMW 7 series was in November 2008.
