Bill Widmann Mark Lacasse
Widmann oversees Guardian’s team of sales and marketing professionals for its North American products and services including its commercial (SunGuard), residential (ClimaGuard) and interiors (Guardian InGlass) product lines. He is responsible for creating a strategy that will engage customers and expand Guardian’s leadership throughout North America.
Before joining Guardian, he was vice president of sales for Rehrig Pacific, an international plastic packaging manufacturer. At Rehrig, he provided sales leadership and direction for the entire organization in addition to strategic planning, organizational restructuring and product development while achieving record profits.
Widmann reports to Mark Lacasse, group vice president, North American Flat Glass. Lacasse oversees all aspects of flat glass operations in North America which includes the company’s seven float glass plants and four fabrication facilities, as well as marketing, sales, financial, business development and services. Lacasse was vice president of Latin America before taking on North American operations in the summer of 2011.
Widmann is a graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
Widmann, and his wife Sherry, have three children and reside in Birmingham, Mich.
