Biesse: Sponsors Of NexGen Event 2010 Report Success

Onsrud, Stiles Machinery, Superfici America, Weinig America are pleased to report that their concurrent open house program, known as the NexGen Event 2010, held February 8 – 12 was a successful venture for all.
 
Given the timid overall resurgence of vitality in the woodworking industry, the sponsoring companies report that they were pleased with the number of participants. The general sentiment of participants continues to be characterized as “cautiously optimistic,” yet the sponsors noted an increase in customer questions relative to strategies for strengthening their manufacturing processes. The number of quotations requested is also an indicator that, while customers may not quite be ready to invest significant cash, they are nevertheless investing their time in planning their next strategic moves as the industry works its way through the recovery process.
 
Visitors expressed appreciation for the flexible scheduling, hospitality and congeniality of the sponsoring companies as they encouraged the organizations to continue to pursue this alternative way to experience state-of-the-art machinery in action.
 
Winners of the NexGen sweepstakes drawings have been identified and will be notified by the NexGen Marketing Committee.
 
Plans are already well underway for a greatly enhanced NexGen Event coming in early October 2010.
