Biesse Shares Successful Numbers On The Technodomus Event

Charlotte, NC, May 7, 2010– Biesse, the leading manufacturer of high-tech machinery and systems for wood, glass and stone, reported a successful showing at the second annual Technodomus Woodworking Expo held last month in Rimini, Italy.

With 42,000 sq m of exhibition space, 300 exhibitors, and 121 registered journalists, the event welcomed 30,865 attendees (compared to 18,156 in 2009) with almost 10,000 visiting from countries outside of Italy.Biesse’s personal booth saw a 97% increase in traffic over the 2009 show.
 
Biesse presented their international audience with new panel processing technology and machines for the windows and doors market, including the Techno Kernel drilling machine, the innovative Roxyl single-sided edgebanding machine, the Stream B1 square edgebanding machine, and the automatic drilling machines Printex and Rover B WMS - the new entry level work cell for the production of all kinds of standard and special windows and doors.
 
Additionally, Biesse previewed their upcoming Green project which features high-technology solutions capable of reducing energy consumption and providing customers with measurable and environmentally conscious cost savings.
 
The event also featured an international press conference on April 21, where Biesse announced their 2010-2012 investment strategy and highlighted technological innovations already in production as well as those planned for the next two years.
 
The next scheduled European event to feature “Made in Biesse” technology will take place October 7-10, 2010 at the BiesseInside open-house event held at the Biesse Headquarters in Pesaro, Italy.
