In this newly created position, Hellman will apply and utilize his experience in developing new business and enhancing customer relationships in the building products industry.Most recently, Hellman served as president of Ceco Door Products of the Assa Abloy Door Group.He was instrumental in positioning and sustaining Ceco as one of the premier manufacturers of hollow metal doors and metal frames for commercial, industrial and institutional construction.
In his new role, Hellman will report directly to Clas Thelin, president, Assa Abloy North America. He will focus his efforts and energies on identifying and promoting strategic initiatives for and with key customers. "We are very pleased to have Carl assuming this important role for our firm," stated Thelin. "He will play an instrumental role in the development and evolution of our growing distributor network."
