Asahi India Glass Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 20.28 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2004 whereas it was Rs 5.90 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2003, an increase of 245 per cent.
Total Income (net of excise) was Rs 58.60 crore in MQ-03 whereas it is Rs 139.88 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2004.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 71.75 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004 whereas it was Rs 37.68 crore in FY-03, an increase of 90.42 per cent. Total Income (net of excise) was Rs 409 crore in FY-03 whereas it is Rs 504.70 crore in the year ended March 31, 2004.
Shares of Asahi India Glass were last traded on the BSE at Rs 123 up Rs 3.75 or 3.14 per cent.
