Arch Aluminum & Glass adds Martin, Perilstein to Management team

Arch Aluminum & Glass has named Robert W. Martin and Max Perilstein to new positions within the company.

Mr. Martin is joining Arch as Vice President of Manufacturing. He comes to Arch from Textron Inc. and had a previous successful stint with Guardian Industries for 7 years. Among the successes Mr.Martin had while at Guardian, he transformed a 30 million dollar vacuum deposition coater from troubled start up to major strategic contributor in the industry. He also was the managing director of Guardian’s Automotive Europe division. While there, Mr. Martin was responsible for turning the operation profitable in less than a year after taking over.
“Bob Martin will add a great deal to our team, as one of our goals at Arch is to become a world class manufacturer and Bob will help us get there. He is a solid manufacturing guy and will help us reach our potential on the production side of the business.” Said Arch CEO Leon Silverstein. “We are very excited to add someone of Bob’s caliber to our organization.”
At the same time, Arch also announced the hiring of Max Perilstein as Director of Marketing. Perilstein joins Arch from the UGC affiliate in Michigan. Leon Silverstein commented “Max is very creative and energetic. He also knows the industry very well and has quite a following. We’re pleased that we can hire someone with credentials as impressive as Max’s.”
