The AGGA board is thrilled to announce the appointment of Warren Overton as our Association’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Warren comes to the role following more than 15 years’ experience in sustainable building practices, project & contract management, business management, and strategic planning. As a specialist in ESD (environmentally sustainable design), Warren has worked across government, private and institutional sectors. He has also worked extensively with many industry associations.

We have every confidence that Warren’s great mix of business skills, combined with his strong background in ‘green’ building policy, will help consolidate glass and glazing systems as essential elements in Australia’s building growth.

Before joining AGGA, Warren was Managing Director of Viridis E3, a green building consultancy he co-founded in 2007, as well as a Director of LAROS Technologies, which he co-founded in 2009, specialising in the delivery of commercial solar PV projects and highly efficient building façade systems.

The global marketplace is getting more competitive every year, which means associations like ours need strong spokespeople. We need to make sure Australia’s regulatory frameworks are properly defined and defended, and that our members’ interests are protected.

Warren will play a leading role in representing these interests at private and government levels, and we invite the whole AGGA community to welcome him warmly.
