The YourGlass.com website interface now has a more attractive look and feel as well as a number of new features.

The recent changes are part of AGC’s ongoing efforts to improve how its products are marketed to their different target audiences, be they glass processors, architects, engineers, facade builders, designers or furniture producers.

New look and feel YourGlass.com has had a makeover! AGC Glass Europe’s website for professionals involved in glass applications now has a new graphic layout, giving it a lighter, more structured, more colourful look that is both pleasing to the eye and easier to read.

Moreover, the site can now be navigated more easily and intuitively, with reorganised web pages and a homepage designed to help internet users find AGC Glass Europe’s main areas of activity (Facade and Architecture, Interior and Design, Transport). For example, an architect looking for glass for a solar-control facade can now quickly obtain the relevant search results in just two clicks. The homepage also focuses on AGC’s R&D objectives with regard to Innovation and the Environment. From now on, products meeting these special criteria will take pride of place on the homepage via a large, dynamic banner.

New features

In addition to the masses of information already available on the site, there is now a brand new section called AGC TV . AGC’s very own audio-visual channel allows industry players to discover the group’s new products through webcasts, which can be received via RSS feeds, or even to rediscover existing products through the educational videos, testimonials and references regularly added to the site. It is also worth noting that the audio-visual information and press releases available on YourGlass.com can be shared on the leading social media sites.

Key existing features such as the Glass Configurator, which calculates the values of various types of glazing (Ug, SF, etc.), and the Product Finder, which helps internet users identify AGC products by entering specific values, will remain accessible on the site. The decision to keep these tools followed a satisfaction survey of the various visitors to Yourglass.com, who revealed that they not only regularly used the calculation programmes, but also very much appreciated them.

Finally, internet users will be able to sign up for a quarterly e-newsletter featuring the latest information on products and showcasing some high-profile architectural applications, among other things.
