At a ceremony held on 8 June, The AGC Glass Building, headquarters of AGC Glass Europe, received the Belgian Environment & Energy Award 2017 in the category “Sustainable Building Award”.

The prize honours building owners, architects and contractors for their efforts towards more sustainable houses, offices or commercial buildings and recognizes innovative design and materials that reduce the environmental impact of construction and buildings.

The new "nearly-zero energy" headquarters of AGC Glass Europe is a showcase for the possibilities of glass, not least the comfort of the occupants. The building was designed and constructed by Philippe SAMYN and PARTNERS sprl, architects and engineers - BEAI and general contractor Van Roey.
