AGC Flat Glass Europe brings forward decision for float glass repair

The sudden downturn in the automotive and construction industries has given AGC Flat Glass Europe the opportunity to bring forward the planned repair of one of its thee float glass furnaces in Teplice (Czech Republic).

The furnace will be shut down at the beginning of December, after 12 years of uninterrupted production. It will be fully rebuilt, incorporating new technologies for energy efficiency and environmental performance. Continuous service to customers will be guaranteed by the other 17 float glass productions lines in Europe.
