AFG will be joined with Vitro Plano, S.A. de C.V. a subsidiary of Grupo Vitro.
D. Roger Kennedy, President and CEO of AFG said, "The venture will transform an existing container glass facility into a float glass plant in Mexicali, Mexico. Plans are for production to begin in the second quarter of 2003. We are very excited to become partners with Vitro, the largest glass manufacturer in Mexico."

In addition to our glass making leadership, AFG operates 57 plants in North America related to the fabrication, insulating, coating and distribution of glass products."
