Which gas has better thermal performance (U-value) in insulating glass: argon or krypton? Is it possible to give me some numbers? Thank you.

Generally krypton has lower U-value than argon, which means that krypton has better thermal performance than argon. Lets take for example normal float glass with thickness 4 mm and space between panes of 12 mm filled with argon has an U-value of 2,69 krypton has a value of 2,55. Logically the values various depending on glass thickness, type etc… but generally krypton is better thermal insulator.
