Crystal Palace

Today the Crystal Palace is still considered to be the turning point in the use of glass for architectural purposes. This article explains the magnificent structure.

For years the Crystal Palace was the center of cultural life until it was destroyed by a fire in 1936. Different efforts have been made to restore a part of the park to its former glory.
