SGEI workshop presenter Mika Eronen is satisfied but not surprised with the results: “- The participants we’re certainly from interesting backgrounds and most demanding and largest group of true professionals I have ever trained before, so naturally I was a little nervous before hand. Usually our training lessons at client’s factories or  in remote sessions on-line have 3 to 8 participants. But as expected the carefully drawn workshop training materials, backed up with my previous experience from training over a hundred glass industry professionals on this topic around the world we’re highly appreciated by the participants.” The fourteen participants from six different countries received the short version of SGEI’s unique training program The Art of Gravity Bending Windshields. The training program full version is commercially available as on-site or remote service and can be purchased by contacting SGEI.

SGEI participation in GPD 2011 conference included also a exhibition stand at the Glass Expo held in conjunction with the GPD conference.  Mr. Eronen comments the glass expo participation: “ - We had an interesting weekend, with a lot of good contacts and interesting discussion with new and existing customers. SGEI team latest reinforcement tempering expert Mr. Jantunen was kept busy discussing about processing challenges.  On windshield processing side especially the upcoming technical guide book about windshield production gained a lot of interest. We look forward to this event again, next in South-America and again in Finland on 2013.”
