CONTINUED GROWTH OF DREAMGLASS® IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY
January 2011, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Having become amongst one of the most popular tourist destinations, Dubai, has also become a reference point for its innovative and trendy architectural landscapes on the world stage. Dream Glass Group (DGG), a leading Switchable Glass (DreamGlass®) supplier was asked to cooperate with the renowned hotel chain Moevenpick supplying and installing DreamGlass® at both the Moevenpick Battuta Gate Hotel and Moevenpick Diera Hotel.

The installation is composed of 30 DreamGlass® panels for Battuta Gate Hotel and 10 for Moevenpick Diera Hotel.
DREAMGLASS® INSTALLATION IN BUILDING FAÇADE
Madrid, Spain. Dream Glass Group (DGG) a leader in Switchable Privacy Glass was chosen by a Neo Architectural Studio to supply and install yet another challenging project in Madrid’s city center. Following its success in offering different technological solutions to all types of glass installations, DreamGlass® was prescribed for the building’s façade.

The project encompassed the total refurbishment and re-decoration of the building opposite the Retiro Park.
The installation of the entire 7 story façade comprising of 113 DreamGlass® panels with double glazed solar control units was a ground breaking solution to traditional interior curtains. This granted the prospective property owner spectacular city views with instant privacy at the switch of a flick. This installation illustrates the concept of functionality and efficiency DreamGlass® panels offer.

DREAMGLASS® APPLICATIONS FOR HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY
Dream Glass Group (DGG), a leading manufacturer of electronically switchable glass was chosen to supply bespoke installations for the public health industry projects in Barcelona, Spain and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Barcelona, Spain. DreamGlass® was required for this prestigious project to provide alternative solutions to improve the environment and functionality of the Hospitals Intensive Care Wing. The installation, composed of 24 DreamGlass® panels not only created a more comfortable environment for the patient, but also increased the response time of Nurses and Doctors during patient emergencies, by no longer requiring to manually draw curtains. Instead, DreamGlass® immediately switched to privacy mode.
The DreamGlass® panels (which have been incorporated with hermetic doors and frames) provides Doctors and Nurses with a better and more efficient controlled environment for the patients, which are isolated in sterile rooms from external contact. This solution grants minimal chances for infections or any other health hazards. Patients also benefit from the possibility of selecting privacy mode when they find necessary in order to meet their intimacy needs. Through a specially designed remote control for each individual cubicle, patients have freedom to activate or deactivate the panel at any given moment.
Sao Paulo, Brazil. In its ambition to continuously offer ground-breaking solutions, DGG was faced with the challenge of offering a solution for the Operating Rooms in one of Sao Paulo ́s Hospital. Due to its expertise and capacity, DGG technical staff evaluated the premises and client ́s requirements in order to provide the most optimal solution for their concept ideas. The task of renovating an Operating Room into a modern practical space began by speaking to both the Senior Architects and Medical Staff in order to understand the basic needs and required outcome.

A total of 9 DreamGlass® panels were fit onto special automatic pressure sensitive doors, enabling consulting Doctors outside the Operating Room to advise/monitor the status of the surgical team without having to enter the room. A switch was placed on both sides of the door so that either the Doctors or Surgeon inside or outside the room could activate the panel, when required.
The installation provided a solution for maintaining minimal possibilities for infections or other health hazards to the Operating Room, while permitting the Surgeon the access to switch to privacy mode during in any required stage.
DREAMGLASS® USE IN BARCELONA RESEARCH CENTER
Barcelona, Spain. The new “Telecommunications and Technologies Center of Barcelona” (CTTI), a leading European Institute for Research, which focuses its main activity within the telecommunications industry, has recently upgraded its installations with the use of DreamGlass® technology. The Architectural firm responsible for carrying out this project wasACXT – Architect Marc Casany.
CTTI is one of the primary locations for the Spanish Telecom Industry. The 3,500m2 project required the use of new and innovative technologies to grant the space with first class installations. The use of DreamGlass® panels along with other high performing products has allowed the CTTI to become not only a modern and trendy spot for negotiations, but also a reference point for architectural community for its innovative applications in buildings.
Each “box” (meeting room) has been installed with DreamGlass® panels allowing users to have privacy at the touch of a switch when negotiations are in place. While the independent “boxes” are not in use, the DreamGlass® panels remain in clear mode, allowing others to know when the “box” is available.
