Corporation Street Footbridge

This magnificent structure was built to replace the original footbridge destroyed in the 1990's by a terrorist bombing. For additional information, see the following article.

This glass bridge is located in Manchester in the United Kingdom and connects the Arndale Centre to the new Marks & Spencer Store. It is completely transparent and constructed in a hyperbolic paraboloidal geometrical shape. It is mostly constructed with laminated glass to ensure maximum safety.
