Including 244 exhibitors from abroad, 734 exhibitors from 21 countries participated in the largest and most dynamic event in the Asia glass industry. Germany, Italy, Belgium, and the United States organized their respective official exhibiting groups to attend China Glass 2008 separately. In the first two days, China Glass 2008 attracted 16,753 visitors, including 1255 overseas visitors from 91 countries.
Leading companies in the glass industry, such as AGC, Saint-Gobain Group, Glaston, PPG, Bytronic, showed off their latest innovations and products during the fair. In addition, top Chinese glass companies dispatched their “Top Cast” in China Glass 2008. Most companies built a grand booth to show their image and took their latest products to showcase technical strength.
Organizers and relevant companies arranged GPD China 2008 and many technical seminars, forums, and lectures during the exhibition period. They offered excellent opportunities for professional audiences in the glass industry from different countries to communicate about topics in which they might be interested. Further, they encouraged networking among potential collaborators in trade, technology, or other fields.
As the Worldwide Media Partner of China Glass 2008, GlassOnWeb.com’s booth attracted numerous visitors from different countries during the fair. A great number of them were GlassOnWeb.com’s loyal daily visitors. It was a fantastic experience to be able to communicate with our visitors face-to-face.
China Glass has become one of the top three glass fairs in the world glass industry. Each year, it attracts more exhibitors and visitors from China and abroad. China Glass is continuing to expand its forces with the hopes that the fair will appear to an even wider audience.
China Glass 2009 will be held in Shanghai in May 2009.
