?This year?s fair has left us with a good impression. We consider it the best of the last three editions. A fact which reveals the positive course of Vitrum 2005 is that, as well as meeting a satisfying number of companies which are already our customers, at our stand we also met an important number of new contacts, competent and sincerely interested in buying. In fact the post-fair period has been and still is very intense and busy: we can be sure of the possible future developments of this meetings.?

"Vitrum 2005 showed good signs that the sector was picking up. Participation was not exceptionally high, but, undoubtedly, of high quality. We met operators in the sector interested in buying machinery. We needed this signal after the 2003 edition. We must say that there were no participants from several parts of the globe. There was no participation from Asia; there were no Americans nor Arabs. There are different reasons for their not being there, but, yet again, it can be noted that Vitrum is a trade fair for the European market."

?In comparison to the last exhibition, Vitrum 2005 experienced an increase of the number of attendants. The Bystronic booth proved to be a central place of action also in this year's show where the national and international visitors could be convinced of the efficiency and flexibility of the Bystronic system solutions. The quality and technical competence of the international customers and interested parties was very high. Alongside numerous contracts concluded with internationally renowned companies, many extremely interesting contacts were also made, so that one can look forward confidently to further, successful exhibition business.?

?For us, Vitrum has been a complete success and Edgetech was also a crowd puller par excellence at GlassBuild in September in Atlanta. Once again, we have shown that our expansion into Europe was the right move at the right time. In just a few years, we've achieved something that, at the turn of the millennium, seemed an impossibility: Edgetech has become a global brand - and our potential for growth on the European market is still far from exhausted.?
Torsten Keemss
General Manager

"Undoubtedly, Vitrum has had a positive result. The results have been excellent, both in the number of visitors and in the quality of the visitors. There was a very important participation from Eastern Europe, which is now one of the fastest developing economic regions. We are very satisfied with the interest shown in our new range of paints for use on glass, Decover. In fact, glass is a beautiful material which is being increasingly used in architecture. Usually, the transparent quality of glass is appreciated the most, but being able to colour it makes it more versatile and adds value to it."

"Tribute is given to the outstanding throng of visitors: this year?s Vitrum was certainly a positive event for For.El. The demonstrations that were planned concerning operations of For.El. machines showed once again to be a winning strategy, especially when innovations are the topic. For.El. never falls short in regards to proposing new machinery. The new products are interesting, innovative and high-tech: they are presented on these occasions to the visitors as new alternatives that inspire new prospects of interest. High quality, a wide range of products and an award-winning level of service have been furthermore confirmed at this edition of Vitrum 2005."

"Our impression is fairly positive. As far as attendees are concerned, we have had many new contacts from Russia and the Baltic countries. A lot of glaziers from the Balkan countries visited our stand as well. Attendees from other Eastern European countries were not so numerous, since the clients we have in that area usually prefer the Glasstec show in Germany, as it is closer to them."

"For Intermac the 2005 edition of the Vitrum show has been very successful thanks to the many important new products' features that were exhibited on our stand. Attendance was overall good with some market areas like North America and Asia that confirmed participation on a steady low level. Mostly important there has been a considerable number of high quality contacts both with large and smaller size customers. The level of interest in our new products range confirmed a positive prospect for a good performance in 2006."

Sales Manager

"Compared with the last edition of Vitrum there is no doubt that this year?s event was a lot better. However it did still not reach the level of the previous years. Certain nations were surprisingly missing but this was made up for by the great interest from other regions. For the leader in the field, Lisec, the show was a big success. The large number of business people from all over the world appreciated not only the top quality "originals" of machinery for the glass industry but also the perfect balance of the machinery lay-out and the welcoming hospitality area at the impressive stand."

?Despite the not very reassuring market predictions for the period following Glasstec 2004, we can feel satisfied with the results of this last edition of Vitrum. Several negotiations already underway were finalised and foundations were laid for interesting new projects."

?This year the Vitrum trade fair turned out to be more European affair than what we are used to. We collected a good amount of customers but mainly European. The reason according to our understanding was the closeness of GlassBuildAmerica exhibition in the United States, only two weeks before Vitrum. On top of that, we have four other exhibitions just around the corner; Big5 in Dubai and Glass and Windoor in Korea in November, Glasstech Asia in Thailand and ZAK Glasstech International in Mumbai India in December. All and all we were pleased with the arrangements and our customer feedback for the Vitrum show. We will continue to invest to Vitrum exhibition as well in the future as one of the most important events of our sales.?

"The last glass trade fairs have resulted well for Tecnocut due to the glass trade?s interest in integrating water cutting with the more traditional methods to cut time and costs and to increase the flexibility and value of the finished product.Vitrum 2005 did not have a vast number of visitors but those who came represented the quality section."
Matteo Traini
Marketing Manager

?Tyrolit Vincent has taken part in the Vitrum exhibition for many years now. However, the 2005 edition recorded a boom in the number of visitors compared to all previous editions. It was remarkable that a vast number of visitors were high level, either CEO's group purchasing managers or other decision makers. International visitors came to the fair mainly during the first days whereas the Italians attended the Fair especially towards the end. The results were extremely satisfying both in terms of consolidating the world wide recognition of the Tyrolit Vincent brand and in terms of business.?
