Safety first!
In too many cases glass represents an entry point for intruders. To improve safety and reduce burglaries, it is important to choose the appropriate type of glass.
Laminated glass is the most common choice for this purpose. In addition to this type of glass, a special alarm laminated glass has been constructed to improve safety. This glass incorporates special electrical wires which trigger an alarm if the glass is forced. You can find some other alarm devices on the market. These can be installed directly onto the glazing surface. Collected links offer additional information.
